Why do we need a DCP and What is DCP ?

Usually requested by film festivals and distributors for screening. In short, DCP stands for Digital Cinema Package. That can be universally accepted in all theaters that ensures accurate color space and format.

How much is a DCP?

Generally a 10 min 2K DCP costs $200 and 90 min is $900

but depends on your request - do we need 4K? encryption? CRU drive? extra duplication? Reach out to find out!

Need to know more?

KDM - Encrypted DCP is much safer but we would need a key called KDM to unlock it, in order to make the Key we need to know what kind of door is it in the theater, so we would request a server cert file to make the KDM.

DKDM - Consider it a master key that works for all doors, but we still need to request the server cert from your distributor.

CRU - a special drive with enclosure, theater compatible.
